Wanna Know More?

One of the most rewarding parts of bottle collecting is "the hunt". Finding your first bottle gives you such a feeling of accomplishment that I'm sure you'll be hooked, just like I was. If you're interested in hunting and collecting bottles, there are plenty of books at your local library to that will give you more information on how to identify and price bottles. To find places to look for old bottles you should try asking some of your older relatives (grandparents, great aunts, etc.) where they used to throw their trash when they were younger. Go to the local court house and find records on old homesteads. Be sure to get permission from the the land owners before digging on their property. Once you find an area you want to search, it's a good idea to rent or purchase a metal detector to locate underground garbage dumps and start digging.

Besides the local library , you can also find books and magazines at bookstores. There are also lots of clubs and antique organizations. And if you're looking for information about bottle collecting on the internet, try these links;
